Western and wildlife artist, Joe Venus of Sandy Utah, attended a Pow-Wow at the Shoshone Bannok Indian Reservation in Idaho. One of the dancers, a beautiful lady in blue caught his eye. She inspired Venus to paint a representation of pride of the Shoshone Nation. Craftsmanship, design, color; and respect for Mother Earth, are symbols of the Shoshone. |
