The modern-day Indian dancer competing in Pow-Wow celebrations throughout the west has been a great inspiration to artist Joe Venus. He travels throughout the western states attending many Pow-Wows.
Over
the years he has made many friends and has been taught the significance
of the Indian dances. The rhythm of the drum, chanting and the wonderful
color spectrum are spectacular to both the artist and non-artist. It is
a heritage that all can appreciate.
