Artist, Joe Venus has spent much time at San Rafael Swell one of the natural wonders of Southern Utah. Many pictographs and petroglyphs are found in this area where the Fremont Prehistoric Indian Culture once lived. Joe Venus has researched the Fremont Culture and had a reproduction of a bow and arrow made for this painting.
