Artist, Joe Venus, has studied archaeological research books and made many trips to Nine Mile Canyon near Price, Utah to learn of the prehistoric Fremont Indian Culture.
This experience enabled the artist to paint with authenticity a series of paintings depicting the lives of a large group of pre-historic people who occupied that area as early as 300 to 600 A.D.
