Utah artist, Joe Venus, was inspired to paint "Children of the Forest" while attending a Pow-Wow in Utah. One of the children dancers carried a spirit of pride in a very dignified manner. She is a tribute to her Sioux heritage. The innocence and trust of newborn wildlife and the compassion of a young child were the ingredients of the painting "Children Of The Forest." |
